Why system will not boot up properly after BIOS update when running in F6 mode?

When system running with F6 unlocKING function, it might cause kernel problem during BIOS update. Please load optimized default setting for CMOS before update new BIOS.

How to set on-board VGA for TH55XE motherboard?

1. Intel H55 chipset motherboard will require CPU with graphic core inside to support motherboard's on-board D-Sub / DVI / HDMI display output.

2. Dual display will only support one analog and one digital output at same time. Two digital output will not function properly. So DVI and HDMI display cannot use at same time.

Dual display setting can be set by VGA driver's utility.

3. VGA driver will be supported when use CPU with graphic core.

HDMI driver is combine in chipset driver package. Also need to support with CPU with graphic core.

4. When switch CPU from non-graphic core to graphic core. VGA and chipset drivers will need to install again.

Why my TH55XE motherboard has error message when install VGA driver?

For Intel H55 chipset under Windows XP OS

There will be an error message during VGA driver installaion if don't install Microsoft .NET Framework
You could press "Yes" to continue the VGA driver installation process.

After driver installation, when openning Intel VGA utility, there will be a notice for Microsoft .NET Framework.

We suggest to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 for fully support VGA driver's functions.

How to install HDMI audio driver on G41D3 motherboard when use Windows XP SP2?

If use Windows XP SP3, it will support HDMI audio device by build-in driver.

However, Windows XP SP2 does not have build in HDMI audio driver, so it will need to install driver manually for support HDMI audio device.

1. After OS installation, insert driver CD for auto install all the drivers.

Next reboot, check Windows Device Manager will see the uninstall device.

2. Insert driver CD again and select Manual function, then install VGA driver again.

3. Windows SP2 should be recognize the Intel HDMI audio device properly after driver install.

Why my system will unstable when run DDR3 1333 MHz speed when use AMD AM3 200 series CPU?

The maximum memory support for AMD AM3 200 series CPU will be DDR3 1066 MHz speed. Over 1066 MHz speed is over CPU's support limitation. So system might be come unstable when memory is overclocking.

How to enable GEN II mode for my motherboard?

Press Delete key in POST to go to CMOS.

Chipset>NB configuration>PCI Express Configuration>NB-SB Port Features>Port #02 Features>GEN2 Hi speed mode.

Set it to Auto, then Save and exit the BIOS setting.

Where can I get the Windows 7 installation including an USB driver ?

On our website, we list all of the platform that can support Windows 7 (Intel 200 series / 100 series / N3000 series / J3000 series / AMD AM4 series) .

For the older models, that don't have Windows 7 driver due to chipset manufacturers support limitation.

However, Windows 7 will support most of them by using default drivers in OS.

If there is any problem after installing Windows 7, please use the E-Support to ask for the help.

Why ATI motherboard have noise on Vista SP2 when use HDMI output?

This problem was caused by the Vista SP2 version.

Vista will force to enable AC3 output support.

If HDMI device does not support AC3 audio, then the noice will appear.

Please refer the Microsoft's document for more information.

How to connect audio output through SPDIF?

To connect the audio output through SPFID, please follow the instructions.

1. Connect a SPDIF bracket cable (coaxial+optical mixed) into MB SPDIF OUT connector.
This bracket must with "signal transfer controller", or cable need purchase from Biostar dealer.
