Resolving the "Light Control Occupied by Microsoft Dynamic Lighting" Error on Intel or AMD 800 Series Motherboards in VIVID LED DJ

This error occurs because Microsoft Dynamic Lighting and VIVID LED DJ are both trying to control the lighting settings at the same time, causing a conflict. To resolve this issue, please turn off Microsoft Dynamic Lighting first, then you can use VIVID LED DJ.

Steps:

Click on the Start menu icon in the taskbar and select Settings.
Go to Personalization, then click on Dynamic Lighting.
Turn off the toggle for Use Dynamic Lighting on my devices.

Why does the BIOSTAR MSFT Icon appear in the lower right corner when using BIOSTAR Intel or AMD 800 Series motherboards?

If the motherboard has LED control functions, Windows 10/11 will automatically install the BIOSTAR MSFT 6K7322 driver, which is recognized as a USB hot-plug device. The BIOSTAR MSFT icon will appear in the system tray (lower right corner).

This icon is associated with the lighting control functionality and it can be safely ignored, as it does not require any user action.

How to activate Secure boot in BIOS?

1. Press Delete when the system boots up to enter BIOS.

2. Navigate to Security >Secure boot.

3. Enable Secure boot.

4. Navigate to Key Management.

5. On Intel platform:

Enable Factory Key Provision.

On AMD platform:

Select Restore Factory Keys.

> Intel platform

> AMD platform

6. Press "Yes" to prceed with install factory defaults.

7. Then press "No" in the next window.

8. Press F10 save & exit.

How to confirm whether secure boot is on?

1. Enter Windows.

2, Type "system information" in search bar.

3. Open System information.

4. Secure Boot State is On when secure boot is enabled.

Why A520 motherboard doesn’t support Ryzen 2000 series processors?

According to A520 chipset specification, it doesn’t compatible with Ryzen 2000 series processors.

How to make rear audio on ALC887 works with AC’97 front panel audio?

1. Open Realtek HD Audio Manager.

The icon is in the notification area (the lower right of the screen).

2. When using AC’97 front panel audio, audio manager will always show there are devices connected to the front panel.

3. Click the yellow icon on the upper right of the window. Check the box to Disable front panel jack detection. Then click OK.

Why can't my motherboard detect the M.2 Wi-Fi card ?

Please follow the steps below :
1. Unplug the Power Cord from Power Supply and waiting for 2 minutes.
2. Install the M.2 Wi-Fi card into Wi-Fi slot.
3. Plug the Power Cord to Power Supply.
4. Install the M.2 Wi-Fi drivers (Wireless and Bluetooth).
5. Restart your system.
6. After system boot to Windows OS,try to check device manager, confrim the Wireless & Bluetooth device can be recognized.

What should I do if the M.2 SSD is not detected after motherboard powers on?

If the M.2 SSD device is not detected, please try following methods for troubleshooting.

1. Ensure your M.2 device is working properly on other computers.

2. Reinstall M.2 device. Make sure it is installed properly.

3. Try another M.2 socket, if your motherboard has more than one M.2 sockets.

4. Ensure the device is recognized in BIOS.

a. Press delete when the system boots up to enter BIOS.

b. Go to Advanced >NVMe Configuration

5. Try other M.2 devices from the storage support list.

Please go to BIOSTAR website to find the storage support list based on your motherboard model.

6. If your M.2 device is in Legacy boot mode, please enable CSM support.

a. Press delete to enter BIOS.

b. Go to Advanced > CSM Configuration / Go to Boot menu

c. Enable CSM support.

d. Press F10 save & exit.

After update BIOS sucessfully and reboot, the PC can't boot up , how to deal with?

Clear CMOS to make sure if the computer can boot up, please follow the step below.

1. Remove AC power line.
2. Set the jumper to “Pin 1-2 short”, you can use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the
two pins.
3. Wait for five seconds.
4. After clearing the CMOS values, be sure the jumper is “Pin 1-2 open”.
5. Power on the AC.
6. Load Optimal Defaults and save settings in CMOS

Which CNVi Wi-Fi modules are compatible with my motherboard?

Please refer to the following table to choose the proper CNVi WiFi module.

Intel 400 series	M.2: CNVio and CNVio2 (Exclude Intel AX211 module)
Intel 500 series	M.2: CNVio and CNVio2 (Exclude Intel AX211 module)
Intel 600 series	M.2: CNVio and CNVio2
Intel 700 series	M.2: CNVio and CNVio2

If you want to use AX211 module, please choose Intel 600 /700 series motherboard.
Please find your Wi-Fi module specification in Intel Ark to check " System Interface Type".
